THE WILLOWFEST AUSTRALIAN COUNTRY CRICKET CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS is an annual event held in the beautiful rural city of Mildura nestled on the banks of the majestic Murray River, in north west Victoria.
2008 marks Willowfest's 31st year!

The Championships which have been running for over  years, are conducted between the 27th and 30th December. Cricket teams from all over Australia come to the vibrant holiday mecca of Mildura to enjoy the summer weather, play cricket on first class facilities and vie for the largest prizemoney purse offered for a Carnival of this type in Australia.

Rodney Hogg Announced as 2008 Ambassador

Former great Australian fast bowler Rodney Hogg has accepted the role of Ambassador for the 2008 Willowfest Australian Cricket Club Championships.

In his playing days Hogg became a national crowd favourite with his aggressive tearaway fast bowling and fierce competitiveness that added spark to his controversial career. Local crowds loved the strong, blond headed quick bowler and the chant of Hoggie, Hoggie, Hoggie was often ringing in opposing batsmen’s ears as he stormed into bowl on grounds right across the country in the 80's.
